Administering Your Fund, Day to Day

We handle the NAV calculations, fund accounting, and financial reporting that keep a fund compliant and its investors informed.

Overview

Administering Your Fund, Day to Day

Fund Administration & Accounting covers the ongoing operational work that keeps a licensed fund running accurately after launch, valuing the portfolio, calculating NAV, and producing the financial reporting investors, auditors, and the regulator expect.

We manage the full accounting cycle: pricing the portfolio, calculating and publishing NAV on the agreed schedule, tracking fees and expenses, and preparing financial statements to IFRS or the standard the fund requires. For promoters who want to operate their own administration business rather than engage ours, we also manage the CIS Administrator Licence application.

Requirements & Eligibility

Requirements & Eligibility

When This Service Applies

  • A licensed fund needs an administrator to calculate NAV and maintain its books once it's operational
  • A fund's existing administration arrangement needs to be transitioned to a new provider
  • A promoter is establishing their own fund administration business and needs the CIS Administrator Licence
  • Investors or auditors require independently prepared financial statements to a recognised standard

Administration Considerations

  • NAV frequency and valuation methodology should be agreed and documented before the fund launches
  • Reconciliation against custodian and prime broker records depends on timely, accurate data from those parties
  • Reporting standards (IFRS or otherwise) should be confirmed early, since they affect the fund's chart of accounts and disclosures

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, fund administration services can extend to funds domiciled outside Mauritius, subject to the specific requirements of the fund's home jurisdiction.
Engaging Aurevya for fund administration means we handle NAV, accounting, and reporting on your behalf under our own licensing. We prepare the financial statements; the fund's independent auditor then conducts the audit. We coordinate directly with the auditor throughout the process to keep it moving.
Yes, we manage the transition, including data migration and reconciliation, to move a fund's administration to Aurevya with minimal disruption.
